1 day Tuesday: Italy - Bucharest
Arrival at Bucharest airport and meeting with the guide who will accompany you throughout the journey. Panoramic visit of the Romanian capital, admiring the tree-lined avenues, the Arc de Triomphe, the Palace of the Free Press, the Bulevard Kiseleff, the Herăstrău Park, the Victory Road with its nineteenth century eclectic and Renaissance buildings. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation in the rooms. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
2nd day Wednesday: Bucharest
Walk through Bucharest to admire the Romanian Atheneum, a wonderful Renaissance-style concert hall, the Revolution Square with its monuments and statues, the Treasury Palace, a visit to the National History Museum of Romania with a copy of the trajan column and a splendid treasure. Visit the historic center with the interesting ancient princely court dating back to the time of Vlad Dracula, the Inn of Manuc, the oldest church in the capital, and the Wallachian art of the Stavropoleos Church. Visit of the University Square with its beautiful statues and its important monuments: Romanian National Theater, Intercontinental Hotel, Hospital Colțea, Suțu Palace. Lunch in a typical Romanian restaurant. Visit to the Spring Palace, residence of the communist dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu, where he lived with his family, and visit of the Village Museum which houses a typical church of Maramureș made entirely of wood and Romanian peasant houses of the nineteenth century. Dinner in a typical Romanian restaurant in the historic center with music and folk dances. Overnight in the Hotel.
3rd day Thursday: Bucharest - Sinaia
After breakfast, departure to Sinaia, where, once arrived, we will visit the Peleș castle with some wonderful paintings by Klimt in the refined theater hall. The Castle was the summer residence of King Charles 1 of Romania. After getting to know the history of the royal couple and touring their home, we will also visit the splendid Pelior Castle, the summer residence of the second royal couple, recalling that a good part of the interior was designed by the queen herself who was a great and versatile artist. Visit of the Sinaia Monastery and the Church of the Holy Trinity. Lunch in Sinaia. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation in the rooms. Free time for a walk in the center and to breathe good mountain air or take a dip in the pool. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
4th day Friday: Sinaia - Prejmer - Viscri - Sighișoara
Day dedicated to Unesco heritage.
After breakfast, we leave the rich alpine town to arrive in Transylvania and visit some ancient fortified Churches, Unesco monuments. We will visit the famous Prejmer Citadel, one of the best preserved in Eastern Europe. Here we will learn about the interesting history of the Transylvanian Saxons, and their extraordinary architectural works, so we will leave for Viscri, to have lunch with the peasants of the village where we will taste genuine dishes. After lunch we will visit the local fortified Church, a world heritage site, restored thanks to the founding of Prince Charles and then we will make a wonderful carriage ride along the valley to admire an unspoiled landscape, get closer to nature, breathe country air and above all to learn about the ancient traditions of Viscri, where they still create handmade bricks and tiles that are then used for the construction of the Churches of the town. Departure to Sighișoara. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in the romantic city
5 day Saturday: Sighișoara - Sibiu - Sibiel
After breakfast, in the morning visit of the historic center of Sighisoara, an extraordinary UNESCO heritage. Sighișoara is a romantic, medieval and fascinating city, with its famous Clock Tower, very ancient and beautiful, the Dominican church, the birthplace of Vlad Dracula, the Church of Saint Joseph, the Tower of the Shoemakers, the beautiful Church on the hill and the Saxon cemetery that we will visit after having walked the nice Steps of the Scholars which dates back to the 17th century and which is entirely covered with wood. Departure for Sibiu, European Capital of Culture in 2007 where we will have lunch. Visit the city center and therefore its three famous squares: the Big square, the Small square and the Huet square, which houses the splendid Evangelical Cathedral, one of the symbols of the city. We will also admire the Council Tower, one of the highest and oldest in Transylvania. We will be observed by the „eyes“ of the Baroque and Renaissance houses and we will see externally the oldest museum in Transylvania. Once transferred from Sighisoara to Sibiu, we will visit the Astra Museum in Dumbrava, a wonderful open-air museum. Dinner and overnight stay in Sibiel, a few kilometers from Sibiu, where we will meet the farmers of the area who will welcome us with genuine, homemade food. We will spend the night in simple but hospitable houses, surrounded by green Valleys.
6 day Sunday: Sibiel - Bran - Brașov
After breakfast we leave Sibiel to reach Bran to visit the very famous Dracula Castle, a building erected in Gothic style in the Middle Ages and which was the favorite summer residence of the charming Queen Mary. The construction was for many centuries a defensive fortress, finding Bran on the border between Wallachia and Transylvania, only in the early twentieth century it became a castle. Lunch in Bran.
In the early afternoon departure for Brasov, where we will visit the Schei Gate and the Ecaterina Gate, the Sforii road, one of the narrowest in Europe, the beautiful Black Church, one of the largest Gothic churches in Europe. We will take a pleasant walk through the modern Council Square. Free time and then we will check-in at a hotel in the city. Dinner in a traditional restaurant in the city center, where, before dinner, an excellent tasting of local wines awaits us, a show of typical Transylvanian dances and music to dance all together. Overnight in a hotel in Brașov.
7th day Monday: Brașov - Bucharest
After breakfast we will leave the city of Brașov to return to Bucharest where we will have lunch.
Afterwards, we will visit the Palace of the Parliament, the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon and, subsequently, we will visit the fascinating Hill of the Patriarchate to visit the Church and the Tower of the XVII century, the Palace of the Patriarch, the bronze Statue of great prince of the United Principalities who represents Alexandru Ioan Cuza.

8 day Tuesday: Bucharest - Italy
After breakfast, departure to the airport for the return flight.
