Watching birds in Transylvania gives the opportunity to admire mountain birds and water birds especially in the so-called “Carpathian Danube Delta”, an area protected by the Ramsar convention. This half-day excursion offers the chance to admire the spectacular landscape of the Carpathians and observe different birds like the egret, the cormorant, the pelican, owls, woodpeckers, finches, just to name a few.
Degree of difficulty: A – Grade A excursions involve minimal effort or no effort, being accessible to all persons in good shape. There are no special requirements with regard to clothing other than wearing comfortable and closed shoes, hat. We also suggest to bring sunscreen, a bottle of water and a small backpack. If you have binoculars take it with you, it will surely be useful (if you don’t have it we can only get one by reservation).
Fee: 45 Euro per person and includes the accompaniment by our guide and the photo fee for non-commercial purposes.
